Isochronous Partitions for Region-Based Self-Triggered Control

نویسندگان

چکیده

In this work, we propose a region-based self-triggered control (STC) scheme for nonlinear systems. The state space is partitioned into finite number of regions, each which associated to uniform inter-event time. controller, at sampling time instant, checks region does the current belong, and correspondingly decides next instant. To derive regions along with their corresponding times, use approximations isochronous manifolds, notion firstly introduced in [1]. This work addresses some theoretical issues [1] proposes an effective computational approach that generates thus enabling STC scheme. efficiency both our results proposed algorithm are demonstrated through simulation examples.

Event-Triggered and Self-Triggered Control

Recent developments in computer and communication technologies have led to a new type of large-scale resource-constrained wireless embedded control systems. It is desirable in these systems to limit the sensor and control computation and/or communication to instances when the system needs attention. However, classical sampled-data control is based on performing sensing and actuation periodicall...

A Novel Hybrid Droop-Isochronous Control Strategy for Microgrid Management

The droop control strategy is the most common approach for microgrids control but its application is limited due to frequency deviation following a load change. Complementary control strategy has then been proposed to solve the problem using a communication network. However, under this strategy, regular loads profile produces a continuous change of output power of all distributed generators (DG...

Self - Triggered Control : trading actuation for computation . ∗

Event-triggered and self-triggered control have recently been proposed as alternatives to the well established periodic implementation of control loops on digital platforms. In a self-triggered implementation, the control task is responsible for computing the new actuator values as well as the next instant of time at which the state should be sampled, the control law recomputed, and the actuato...

Self-triggered linear quadratic control

Self-triggered control is a recently proposed paradigm that abandons the more traditional periodic timetriggered execution of control tasks with the objective of reducing the utilization of communication resources, while still guaranteeing desirable closed-loop behavior. In this paper, we introduce a selftriggered strategy based on performance levels described by a quadratic discounted cost. Th...

Event-triggered and self-triggered control design with guaranteed performance

In digital control applications, controllers are typically implemented in a time-triggered fashion, in which control tasks are executed periodically. This design choice is motivated by the fact that it enables the use of a well-developed theory on sampled-data systems. This design choice, however, leads to over-utilization of the available communication resources, and/or a limited lifetime of b...
